Problem solving is a skill that is practiced all through life.  In this case, I didn't have enough light.  The photograph came out really grainy due to a high ISO setting, which allows for lower light.It was not very sharp, had a terrible shadow next to the baby and a hand in the image. There was so much I loved about the image anyway. I painted in detailed lines on Nanette's face, hair, flowers and other areas and fixed the background.  For the original, see below. .......................

Ciarra was so easy! Mommy filled her lil' tummy and she slept sweetly the whole session. I never know what to expect during newborn photography sessions. Some are easy and some are kinda challenging. Then there are the L-O-N-G sessions where baby needs to feed every 15-20.  It's all worth it to create an archived memory of how small and vulnerable a newborn is.  When I see the same baby 3-4 weeks after a session to deliver images, they have already changed!  It's amazing!
