Newborn Girl

As a Mom of two grown boys, I always appreciate the opportunity to dress up a baby girl in "girlie" outfits. It's important to me to make a newborn photo session as easy as possible for new parents. To help parents avoid spending money on newborn photo props, I have a fully stocked studio of outfits, wraps, furs, headbands, bow ties, props, and goodies for both girls and boys.

Newborn Photography

Newborn Photography takes skill, experience, patience and time. A newborn doesn't smile on cue. Once their tummies are full they want to sleep. Well that's not always true. Some babies struggle to get to sleep. It's so rewarding when I have my camera in hand and I'm ready when their dream stage hits that mark where their beautiful lil' face smiles! Between tweaking this or that in the current setting, it's easy to miss that little moment. Who wouldn't crack a smile and a giggle looking at those smiles?!

Baby Love – Newborn Photos

Isn't it amazing to see how tiny newborns are? They change so fast! Look at Mommy & Daddy's rings on those scrumptious toes! For the image on the right, I wish we had a cute outfit on baby instead of that diaper! You can't tell by the photo with Angela & Andrew, but little Mr. was over the modeling thing. We grabbed an image of the 3 of them before they left- even with a diaper on.

Newborn Photography – Nanette

Problem solving is a skill that is practiced all through life.  In this case, I didn't have enough light.  The photograph came out really grainy due to a high ISO setting, which allows for lower light. It was not very sharp, had a terrible shadow next to the baby and a hand in the image. There was so much I loved about the image anyway. I painted in detailed lines on Nanette's face, hair, flowers and other areas and fixed the background.  For the original, see below. .......................
